Grooming services vary from breed to breed. Factors taken into consideration when pricing a pet are as follows:

Double Coated Breeds: (Extra fees apply)
Selective breeding has produced coats that need a great deal of care and maintenance. Double coats include breeds such as the Sheltie, Rough and Bearded Collie. Many new designer breeds, Golden Retriever as well as other mixed breeds. We no longer groom pets over 65 lbs.
Blended & Layered / Scissored Specialty Cuts:
This type of style requires blending and shaping with scissors.

It is usually reserved for Poodles, Bichons, Shi Tzu, Lhasa’s to name a few. |

The styles vary and we rely on the coat being MAT FREE in order to accommodate this type of styling. |

These styles must be maintained on a 6 week schedule and must be kept mat free at home. |

EXTRA FEES/A LA CARTE ITEMS
We include routine ear cleaning and nail clipping as a free service with a complete grooming.
Fees for ear cleaning and nail clipping will be applied if:
Your pet grows an excessive
amount of hair in the ear canal or experiences chronic ear
problems that require special irrigation. ($20.00)
Nails are curled into the pads
and require clipping & grinding. ($15.00)
These fees are also applied if
the animal is aggressive for these procedures.
A LA CARTE
Cloud Nine
Coat Re-builder: Replenishes some of the
natural oil into the skin that has been removed by bathing.
Silk
Treatment: Actual silk fibers are interwoven
into an herbal conditioner. These fibers attach to the hair
shaft for a silky protective layer that also adds shine.
Texture Aid:
Developed specially for Terriers and Hard coats. This
product adds shine and moisture without compromising coat
texture.

De-matting Fees:
De-matting or removing matted and tangled coat is a time consuming and tedious process. It is not considered a part of normal grooming. It can be extremely hard on the pet as well as the groomer.
There are several methods that can be used and our prices are based on:
The degree of difficulty
Time involved
Handling problems.
We reserve the right to refuse to de-mat any animal if we feel that it would be
harmful to the pet under salon conditions.
We only shave or clip cats if there is a medical reason of if it is so severely
matted there is no other choice.
In either case we require a written authorization by your personal Veterinarian.
De-matting Fees:
$45.00+ for shaving-in addition to the base
grooming fee.
$90/hour for comb-outs - in addition to the
base fee.
Therapeutic Bathing:
This is a special bathing process, usually requested by your pet's Veterinarian, for the purpose of treating the skin for various medical problems. This procedure involves;
(Hypoallergenic shampoos are used
to remove dirt and oil. )
A medicated
shampoo is then applied and worked through the coat for 5-15
minutes.
Fee: $8.00
to $15.00 extra depending on size and coat density.
Handling Fees: The definition of "difficult" or "hard to handle" in an animal that is out-of-control in a grooming situation and requires added time to groom.
